2003 sl500. need starter battery in engine bay

does anyone know where i can order one. my local dealer want 255. thanks

There is nothing unique about the starter battery. It is a conventional automobile battery that can be purchased at any auto parts store.

The "Systems" battery in the trunk would be a different matter, however...
