Windshield washer fluid warning lamp.
 

Hey y'all,

The warning light for adding windshield washer fluid recently illuminated (it did seem low) but remains lit even after I topped it up. The car is my '86 Euro-spec 300SL 5-spd. Is there anything special I need to do to re-set it?

Hi

Perhaps the low level "switch" has stuck "down" with dried screen washer liquid (it gets a bit sticky) . Mine normally just switches off when I re-fill it, nothing special. Try hot water in the refill.
