I have the numbers somewhere here for my '72 350SL. But, there may be some small changes for different model years.

Might be best to look up the numbers using your VIN on epc here:

http://epc.startekinfo.com/epc/welcome.jsp

(you will have to join but there is no cost even although they ask for your C/C number)

OK - Back to my main computer. epc says:

Depending on engine number,

RH could have been 1171420001 or 1171421801 both replaced by 1171400409

LH could have been 1171420101 or 1171421901 both replaced by 1171400009.

But, check number for your VIN before buying.

Out of interest, why do you need the numbers? Are your manifolds damaged?
(My car is on it's 4th passenger side m/fold - others all cracked between 3rd & 4th ports.

1974 manifolds

Hi Graham
I have a 1975 and the cats are shot to say the least.
I was told a 1974 set would work on my s/l
Thanks
Bob

If your manifolds has the integral reactors, then replacing them with earlier SL manifolds can be done, but I'm not sure what you need to do about the engine down pipes.

This morning, there were TWO sets of 450SL manifolds on ebay.
