Voltage overload is what I thought as well~
There is a resistor on the board maybe two. I wonder if they are not resisting enough!! If that is so, would that make the lights in dash not work? I cleaned ALL light contacts with a light emory and then applied dialectric grease for contact and corrosion protection. All the lights (brake, seatbelt, battery etc) just beam now what a difference, however still no dash lights, that goes for the a/c heater controls and window switches as well. the sifter light works ok though....they all were intermittant for a short while then...nothing. I 'm not good with electric stuff anyway. I shall go back to the clock and look up the color code on the resistor and go to Radio Shack to see if they have a replacement. I used to know what the colors meant, the saying was ..something , something but violet gives willingly...meaning blue violet grey and white. Too long ago.. Well if there is anything you can add, please do!
