Tires/Wheels

With the staggered wheel/tire setup (275r - 245f), is anyone experiencing excessive tire noise and quick tire wear due to the inability to rotate. I currently have 245s on 17"rims all around and am trying to decide whether going for the gutsier look is worth the trade off (if there is one).
Any insights would be appreciated.

97 500SL Sport Edition with staggered wheel setup here. As long as tires are balanced and steering, tracking and suspension are up to snuff, the front tires should wear slightly more at the edges due to cornering and rear tires may wear evenly across than front ones if prone to quick takeoffs.
