red light on next to abs light
 

I have a 1989 560SL. In the owners manual there is nothing noting a light to the left of the abs light. The abs light comes on yellow when I start the car then goes off. There is a red light on just left of the abs light. This red light is just right of the dimmer button. The red light doesn't go off. Anybody know what this light represents?

My guess is that someone has pulled the Instrument Cluster and plugged in the
lights in the wrong position. Its easy to mis insert those little light bulbs.

If you have never pulled the Instrument Cluster, its pretty easy to make a tool
out of a metal coat hanger. You will also need to remove the Steering Wheel first.
This is not hard to do but there are some tips that you need to be aware of.

How experienced are you with doing stuff like this?
