tune up problem
 

i recently bought a 1973 450 sl also bought cd and written manual both tell me to gap spark plugs between .028 and .032 did that and the car will not run plugs taken out were gapped at .020 to .022 regapped the new plugs and car ran fine would really like to correct problem rather than modify plug gap also dont know what modified plugs are doing to other components any suggestions thanks
