Help with rear glass!!!

I am trying to locate new/used rear window glass for a 1979 450sl.
I found a junkyard within my state that has a 1981 380sl, but I was not sure if that rear glass would be compatible.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially a source for rear glass.

Have a look at car-part.com , this is a nation wide search of participating salvage yards. Plug in your car and other car and see if the same parts come up.

Also have a look at windshieldstogo.com , they might list rear glass.

Also look for a complete hard top, the market for these is about zero.

The 107 didn't change much over its lifetime. I'd be fairly surprised if there were any difference in the glass between the '79 and the '81.

The hardtops are all interchangeable. The only changes I am aware of are the side latches and rear glass. The earliest models had tempered (safety) glass. After that it was laminated.
