Rear View Mirror Repair

Hello all.
Has anyone ever taken a Rear View interior mirror and repaired the day night toggle??
I now have 2 from a 107 and neither is able to adjust with that little tab.

What goes on inside? If I some how get it apart will it ever go back together?

Oh P.S. Did anyone ever come up with the decal/sticker that goes on the Air Cleaner? Or the one on the rocker arm cover?
