Re your post - I do the same thing! It's an easy way of keeping a record.

I am currently replacing the water pump on our W210. The thread on BW is getting close to 100 posts

Sometimes when I do a search about some issue I am having, I find that I posted about same issue 10 or 15 years ago Both here and on BW.
