1991 300SL Power Top Control Module
Wrecked 1991 300SL. I looked under hood passenger side firewall compartment, trunk area, and rear compartment for the power top control unit with no luck. Any advise as to where it is? Thank you.

On mine, it was underneath the "back seat" area (the storage units). It's been a while, but as I recall you open the cover, then can pop out the base to get at it. I think it was on the passenger side.

Glad my memory worked! Couldn't go and check, as my 300SL back seat area is currently stuffed with pieces of the interior as I finish rewiring the dash and center console area for the 722.6 tranny and om602 diesel.
