1984 380 SL

I bought my 380 in 2011 with 148K+ miles. Has both soft and hard top.
It had multiple electrical problems that I diagnosed as fuse issues when I looked at it. Sure enough, I replaced every fuse in the main panel and everything worked except the AC and radio antennae.
The odometer was the first fix with a disintegrated main gear. I have now put 2500 miles on it. Just turned 150K.
Next major fix is rear shocks. It has bottomed out the last few times I took out.

It looks like a previous owner frankensteined it by adding the aluminum wheels and a front air dam with AMG stamped into it.

I have many photos of My Beauty, of which this is one.

Back on topic, here's our '83 500SL. Been in the family since 1998 and garage kept its whole life. I'm hoping to have this car fixed up and reliable enough to attend the Texas Centerville gathering in October. Will be it's first "event" of any sort in over 20 years.

And hanging out with my buddy and his '83 280SL...

Sorry, I saw 80-89 and R107 (as did others apparently), so I posted. I can remove it if it is not appropriate.
