87 560 Arm Rest

I was wondering if the arm rest/door pull on 560s are the same for driver and passenger side. The driver side on my 87 is only the flat rest/pull without the arm peice that angles up to the latch/ door lock. The passenger side has the angled peice that attached to the door latch/lock chrome trim piece. Is this correct?
It doesn't look like it was ever replaced yet I have seen interiors of other 560s that have matching door pulls for both sides. In fact, the door latch/lock trim piece for the driver side does not look to have anyway to attach an additiobal pull.
Wondered if others have this setup.
Thanks.

Mine is the same way as you describe -- that is, driver and passenger sides are different. I haven't seen it any other way.

Whenever I have doubts about the authenticity of a part or look, I check out Ebay ads for these cars -- there are usually a lot of pictures - and I can confirm that mine is the same (or different )

I didn't even think to do that in this instance. You're right about ebay, I do the same. Although I have noticed a couple in my area that do have the extra pull on the drivers side. Also, I noticed in the Performance Parts catalog they show a picture of one as well. That's what got me really wondering.
Thanks for the reply, at least I know it wasn't replaced with a cheaper part.
