I'll be 60 the 23rd of this month. Bought my 03 SL500 four months ago. This must be my old life crisis, cause I bought a Mazda RX7 twenty years ago when I was 40 for my mid life crisis. I don't know where my three motorcycles fit into all this, I started riding in 1965 and never stopped (was that an early life crisis?)
I can say that I wish I had purchased a Mercedes a lot sooner.

I Could not have bought it new, 1986, when I was 43. 56K( more than a years Salary). But I did at 62. A pleasure every day. Daimond Blue Metalic, 143K Miles.
PO was a Mercedes Mechanic so everything works. I was in HS when the 300SL came out for 66K in 1958. It's good to live in America!!!

I am 66,i was dreaming in 50' ,when i was a kid,to have ....one day a "GULLWINGS"...and.... now ....few years later ...i am the owner of a 500SL m119 powered.But have not enought money to buy ...the new gullwings....sad..sad!!

Mover over guys...LOL Received my 99 SL500 Sport as a surprise from my husband because I had always wanted a convertible. First car was a baby blue 64 1/2 Mustang 73 corvette (silver) 77 corvette (yellow) 79 corvette (yellow) But I truly love my MB...... "V"
