repair manuals
Are there any good repair manuals - CD or paperback - for the 420sel ??
Same question for parts CD's - I have ETKA for my VW's - is there a similar for the MB? Thanks

Check Caliber Motors. They advertise in the Star that they have "Shop manuals on CD-ROM for most models." Their website is www.calibermotors.com. They are a Mercedes dealer in Anaheim Hills, CA.

I subscribe to Alldata at alldatadyi.com to have access to technical data for my 1991 300SL. I have found it to very complete and is a scaled down version of the same service they offer to repair shops. Fee is about $25 for the first year and my renewal was $15.00.
They also have service advisors and service bulletins. Hope this helps.
