SL Express Window Down Question
 

Hi Everyone:
Does anyone know if the express down and up window switch is interchangeable with a late model SL500? I have a 2000 SL500 and it only has an express down for the windows. Other Mercedes models have both the down and up function for their windows. I kind of find it hard to fathom that their top of the line model lacks this function while other models do. Is it a safety issue?

It's bizarre, isn't it? The 1996-2000MY SLK is the same. Yet my old 1998 C200 had express or one-touch up and down. I gather from a previous post long ago in Tech Help that it is more than a switch and involves an extra relay. Anyone?
