Comments & experiences with 1993 500SL
 

Hi! New guy here. Read lots about older SL models. Note that only about 1,700 1993 500SLs were sold in US. Anyone care to comment about this car, their experiences with it, dependability, etc.? Had only about a month to drive my used 500SL before garaging it for the PA winter.....love it...but would like to know what to expect. First event was about $800 worth of "little stuff" at a dealer!

Boy, that's kind of a loaded question,,,, use the search for the most comprehensive listing of SL issues. I have been very happy with my 95, but don't really know how much they changed from 93. 2 areas that I already addressed were distributor caps and rotors and fuel filter leaking... 2 common problems with these cars. Where abouts are you located? We are up in Butler. Pete:D
