calipers fixed?

Well I picked up the car -- they replaced the front calipers -- but all was not right -- too much travel in the brakes - normally it was very tight. I hope it is air in the system - but I bet somethng happened to the master cylinder in all the cleaning/flushing.

In the driving I did with it I at least found out that the front end is actually still very tight -- the drift was caused by the sticking caliper. But with the some boots torn it is just a matter of time - but the dealer said that with only a few thousand miles a year it could take a while

I was wondering about the front springs - If I do all of the front end work -- should I just change out the springs - MB says they do not replace many of them - I did not check the price yet. If I remember, you must measure a spring out of the car -- correct?
