Window problem

89 560sl,passenger winow does not go up.was working fine until the other day.Does anyone have any thoughts before i bring ii in to the shop?thanks

Probably a funky switch or relay. Try toggling the switch back and forth a couple of dozen times.

Remove the Drivers side switch and replace the passenger side switch with it! If the passenger side now works with the drivers side switch all you need is a new switch! Order from Phil above!

Easiest way to remove the switches is by reaching up under the left and right side of the console with your finger and pushing them up! Little tight but it works!

Heres what worked for me. WD 40 with spray tube. Insert in channel between window and door cover. Spray good amont around moror and mechanisim. Sometimes, a sticking arm is the problem. Worth a try. good luck, Abe G
