Looking for a 617.95x in Colorado?
If you are, and I know some are, Colorado Auto and Parts in Englewood just got a wrecked 300D turbodiesel. It was a mess - the roof had been cutoff, and the chassis was bent in two - looked like it got sandwiched between two semis. I have never seen a W123 with that much damage, but the passenger compartment seemed intact.
I didn't check for the year, and the odometer was already missing, but the engine was untouched. I took the turbo and the injectors, both seem to be in good shape. If you are able to pull your own parts, it would cost you only $200 for the engine and IJP. But you'd better hurry, as the hood will not keep any water out now that the injectors are missing.
