82 300SD for Parts/whole

North Texas car runs OK. Recent trannie rebuild, valve adjust chain inspection. Leathers shot, no grill, radio. FL fender damaged. Body fair and has no rust other than under batt. Bumpers, doors and trim are in good shape. Car is black with grey int. $650 you pick up or name your part/fair price. I'm easy.
I pd $750 for it thinking if I found a good TD needing eng/trans work I'd be set. Never found a wagon and I hate to see this thing sit and decay.
A buddy is trying to talk me into cutting the back half off and attaching his VW bus somewhere behind the driver. I'm thinking more PU Ranchero style. Someone stop me.

looking for a fuse box cover and a fog light...let me know if you want to part with those items!
also, if the windshield wiper/blinker assembly is in good shape I'll take that.

Drivin' slow on the WWW super hiway here. Must be the fumes, whiskey...
Never got a "PM"?? How do I do that?
RE the parts... PS pump=good, Blinker stem=good.
I can get pics, answer parts questions via email dmagers(at)texoma(dot)net. No need to use up bandwidth here.
Its around 20F here today so, don't expect a parts pull until next week.

Dan,

thanks

also, is it currently driveable ?

No rust at the sills or quarters. Alot (to me) under the batt tray.
The FL fender has evidence of rust due to a past repair.
Yes, It drives but I wouldn't go too far 'till you really went thru it. Changed fluids/filters and such. The exhaust downpipe is loose, tires dry rot.
I trailered it home months ago but since then I have driven it 5 or so miles around on the country roads. Its sitting next to the barn at my ranch here in TX. I'm going up there today to try to get a better pic. The snow should be gone.
BTW, it did start in the 25f degree weather we had here last friday. Suppose to be 60+ today. YES! I can get back on that "manualizing the 123 Climate control" project.

Seat switches...

Aloha Dan,

Are the seat switches working (left and right)? Would you like to sell them? How much? Would also like the front seat springs (left and right). Are yours serviceable? If they are, how much would you like?

Thanks,

Since most of us need interior parts, switches and that is the 'worst' part of this car and I could really use the space, I have decided to sell the car as whole.
First $650 takes it. Drive it home. Email for pics.
