126 euro headlamp conversion

i thought other members might find this interesting.
i am doing a euro headlamp conversion on my US 126. surprisingly i was able to buy the euro lamps, wiper motors, wiper arms and all of the parts for the headlamp adjusters, i have a worldwide version of a mercedes epc and all the numbers were there, i called the dealer and they ordered them for me, i was surprised to be able to get these items in the US, it is amazing what you can get with the correct part numbers.
i was able to get Bosch headlamps from a local supplier, they were significantly less tham from mercedes, but same quality.

I did the full conversion on my W124 (Euro headlamps, corners, wiper motors, arms, etc) too. European headlamp wiper motors can indeed be ordered from any MB dealer in the US, but they aren't cheap. The W124 wiper motors were around 90EUR per side the last time I checked. I went the el-cheapo route and bought a used set from a foreign recycling yard.

What's the part number for the trim piece at the light switch that holds the vacuum switch? What about vacuum hose part numbers?
I have the vacuum switch and Bosch lights, but need that trim.

more parts available for euro lights

i was looking at my euro epc and found that there are lots of individual parts for the headlamps listed, the glass face, the inner reflectors etc... most of the headlamp assemblies all break down to individual pieces. if anyone is interested in part numbers for specific parts send me an email and vin number.
