I got in an accident last week and maligned my beautiful 300e.

Location: Greenville, SC

It is sitting in storage now and I have to figure out if I should part it out. I am getting another 300e this weekend.

The good: Immaculate Palomino Int, Smoke Silver exterior
Engine and transmission with 112k original

Most parts

The bad: I cannot ship large parts, so these would have to be picked up

The ugly: Hit in front. Hood, drivers side fender and door skins damaged.
some frame damage apparent

I am interested in a working LCD temperature window in the instrument cluster...
As far as ideas, if you are semi handy with tools. Part it out as much as you can and then sell the rest to a recycler. Not only you will be help some people in need (like me ) but, you will make more money that selling it now to a recycler. Don't even think on repairing it, specially if the frame was damaged! It will cost you $$$$$$$$$$

It's strange, but it works 80% of the time...the other times it does not light up...

I think I will be parting it..I have been offered 100 dollars...
My idea would be to take multiple part orders

I dont' want to sell one part here, one part there for 25 dollars... I would like it if people planned for back ups and ordered in increments of 200 dollars... At about 1400 , I could then scrap it.

I am interested in the sun visors. Are they in good condition or is the mirror light assembly falling out of them? Do they stay in the up position or have a tendency to slip back down because the hinge is loose?

What was the extent of the front grille area damage? I need the vertical chrome strip. Also, what about the EHA? Mine is leaky - is yours any good?

Do you have power antenna unit and could I get the VIN to check compatability with my 86' (always pays to make sure before you pay shipping) and how much $
Also how much for all the center consol switches and do they all light up/work good.
