Gil,

Regarding your seats, check out these auctions below. They are for the cream leather (not palomino) however I have seen that seller list all sorts of different W126 seats. Send them an e-mail and tell them what you're seeking (palomino front seats). They may be able to help you out. Since the driver's seat is attached to the armrest and the replacements you purchase may have an armrest leather cover in excellent condition, I'll hold off on selling you the armrest cover as I'd hate to make you pay for what you'll end up not needing.

Thanks for the links Richard.

Check this out, they also havwe an entire 1991 w126 interior available here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=42612&item=7968193050&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

Is that bolt-compatible with a 1989? For $2400 I can get the whole kit and kaboodle.

chiwanga - how much for the dead pedal? Any luck on the speaker covers? What about the bumpers? Are they available, in good shape?

Wow... I'd love to buy that interior, just that I can't afford it. Indeed, everything will be compatible with an '89 down to the last bolt. $2,400 actually may seem like a high price but it isn't when you consider what you'll be getting.

Let me know if you'll get it. I might purchase your current interior seats if you do.

Hi Richard...

I am leaning toward doing it, but the seller has some nasty negative feedback, I'm going to call him and have a nice chat first.

If I go through with it I would be happy to sell you any palomino parts you want.

oooh... and there's great consistency in each negative feedback. Seems like he takes forever to ship overall and quite frequently, what he sells isn't what he claims to be selling resulting in him doing a lot refunds and relistings. Before you get into this, as you already said, have a nice long chat with the seller. Do this over the phone not e-mail. The consistency in all the negative feedback is what scares me.
