found a transmission in a wrecking yard in Sacramento. Having it shipped. BTW, only the trans from an 86-87 300D will interchange with an 87 300TD. The SDL trans is different. Sold it to me for 500+100 shipping. Not too bad I thought, compared to rebuilt price anyway.
