Who wants it? I'll sell the whole car for $350! Yes it really is a fuel injected 280. Want the vin number? Here it is, 11407212006478. I promised my wife I would get rid of it. I live in Tacoma Wa. The car runs and drives. Brakes need help and alternator is not charging the battery. The interior is 95% there, but 70% is messed up. Car has lots of rust. I have only driven the car about 40 miles the night I got it and around the block about 5 times. Don't plan on driving it far. Engine starts right up. Has pretty good power and does not make any bad noise. The right person would really like to have this car for parts. Let me know if you are interested via e-mail. andy

If only I could drive it the 3,000 miles to NYC. I start a new job on Monday, and I always buy a new car with a new job. (Well, this is my 4th job in 19 years).

I can't believe it. Isn't there anybody that wants or needs this car? I figured anyone with a coupe of this style would want it just for the little parts. Then there's always the windows. Please let me know. andy

I'm moving soon. I can't take it with me. I need to get rid of it. I will be ashamed of myself if I send it off to the crushing machine. andy

Andy,
Can you assess it for making a 600 mile drive? -CTH |

No way. If the brakes weren't so scary, if the alternator worked and kept the battery charged and if the left front shock absorber wasn't almost coming off, then maybe. I would have faith in the engine, but not the brakes or charging system. The trans, I don't know. Sorry. andy

The Alternator is a fixable problem.
How bad is the shock? Are talking about rust-through at the shock tower? How scary are the brakes? Is it a lack of fluid or a stuck caliper? -CTH |

I'll check the shock tower to see if it's okay. Yes, the alternator can be easily fixed, but I don't really want to put any money into it. I don't know what's wrong with the brakes. They don't work very well while in reverse and I think the back ones lock up kind of easily(at least while on gravel) Could also use new(or used) spark plug wires. I'll check things out tomorrow. andy
