I have a 1988 M103 engine (complete), tranny, ABS computer, and ECU for
sale. Everything was in good working order when pulled, and has 145K miles on it. Stored INDOORS. Engine has had Mobil 1 since 102K (changed religiously every 3.5K miles), and had timing chain; sparkplugs, wires, rotor & cap; cam gear; tensioner; waterpump; serpentine belt; valve cover seal; front cam cover seal; replaced in the last 10K. Alternator rebuilt 15K ago. Valvestem seals replaced at 95K. Engine coolant de-oiled & de-scaled with MB products only, every 2-years. Transmission has had Mobil 1 ATF since 102K. Filter & fluid (including torque converter) changed religiously every 15K miles. Tranny end-piece not-included (transferred to C36 tranny). Although not exhibiting any B2 piston symptoms, I have a spare B2 piston that will be included just in case. Engine & tranny run extremely strong. Engine has the typical oil leak (less than 1qt between 3.5K oil changes) at the rear. This engine will pull to redline and stay at 5K RPMS all-day long. Will include M103 engine manual. Parts located in Costa Mesa, California, at Bruce Strauss AutoCare. Thanks, :-) neil 1988 300TE w/AMG'd M104 engine (aka, C36) |

And how much would you like for this little drive train and what happened to the tail of the C36 tranny?
