Late 2001 (Facelift) ML270CDI...Tranny (722.6) in perfect working order EXCEPT for very slight flare on 3rd to 4th upchange and is complete with torque converter (the torque converter alone retails at £600).

Also available separately........

Transfer box is in perfect working order and is complete with electric motor.

Hi there,
what causes the flare in engine revs between gear changes 3 an 4? i also have a ml270 cdi and im experiencing same problem and its causing car to go into limp home mode, but when i turn off car and restart everything is back to normal.
Are you selling it because it was unrepairable and you have had a new trans fitted?

Hi, I dont know what the cause of the flare is but mine is only very slight and has never gone into 'limp' mode, otherwise it works perfectly....i was offered a brand new trans and tranfer box from a written off ML at a price i couldnt refuse

so that's why i'm now selling these items.
