Factory block heater new in original box

Get ready for winter! Your Mercedes will start in any weather with this factory block heater. Especially valuable for diesels in snow country, the block heater screws into the engine block. It plugs into standard 110 VAC electricity and draws 400 Watts. It will warm your engine in just a few hours and allow it to start more easily. Since the coolant is pre-warmed, the interior also heats up quickly, a bonus in cold weather.

This is a Mercedes factory block heater new in its original box. It is part number 900 203 48 95. The instructions are dated 1978 and 1981 and cover "all current and recent models except model 6.9." The following models are specifically listed: W123 4 and 5 cylinder diesels, 126-107 (V8 engines Type 116), W114-115 (230, 240D, 300D), W123 model 230, M110 6 cylinder engines, W116-107 V8 engines (450SL, 450SE/SEL), W116 300SD. The heater should also fit most 1980-87 models up to the point where Mercedes started installing them at the factory as standard equipment. Please make sure the heater will fit your engine before buying -- this is your responsibility.

Price $35 plus $8 shipping. First Private Message gets it.

The attached picture was shamelessly stolen from Fastlane, where you can buy one just like it for $64.
