W108 Parts - I'm Selling my '72 280SEL
I have some parts from my '72 280SEL that I don't need. From memory the highlights are:
Radiator (used but no scale in great shape and just pressure tested/checked at a shop) $200 Transistorized MB ignition module and bosch "blue" coil, pulled and replaced with pertronix and was working fine when removed $75. I Will also include the used points as well as a brand new condensor in box. Becker Mexico AM/FM Cassette Stereo - Still in box from Becker service several years ago. Includes separate amp. Perfect shape $225 Original owner's manual & parts list $35 5± feet of 5/16" high pressure fuel injector hose plus 9 new clamps. This is enough to replace all 8 injector hose stubs and the rail hoses too. Fresh from 2005 production. Just cut to length and install to avoid leaks and fires. $25 takes it all. That's less than the cost of one "kit" for the injector stub replacement! All prices plus shipping. PM me directly if you have questions or an interest in any of these items...

Can you tell us where diaphragms may be bought for $5. ?
At this point I am working on making new ones by casting around the old ones using plaster and then fill the mold with neoprene, but who knows whether this will work or not. Have had success repairing worn/torn one with plastic tool dip, but don't know how long that will last either. The one I really need is the fresh air damper opener.(the side with the rod) Mine is a 74 450sel |
