Wanted: 15" wheels for 123 chassis

I am looking for 15" wheels for a 123 chassis. Should be ET23/25 offset, IIRC? Stock MB wheels prefered. They do not need to be perfect, "restoreable" is fine. Looking to upgrade a size from the stock 14" Bundts. Thanks, RT

I believe bgkast is correct. Do you know the ET number? There should be a number on the inside of the wheel starting ETxx. Please post that if you can. Thanks, RT

If you want 15" bundts good luck. They are made of unobtanium.

But yes, the wheels from a W126 will fit. The car will ride a bit high but I have seen this combination before and it looks pretty good.

124 Offset

The 124(300E/D) have almost a 50mm offset against the 25 plus offset of a 123 and the 126... So the 124 will rub on the brake calipher etc... Jim

They are out there but mostly in Germany and they are not cheap. I think they used them on the 6.9 W116 originally and ATS has made some repros that look real good. I think ATS was also one of the OEM suppliers of bundt wheels.

Check out this listing. http://cgi.ebay.de/Mercedes-Benz-W-R-107-Barock-Alus-7-J-15-von-ATS_W0QQitemZ200045081792QQihZ010QQcategoryZ9892QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD4VQQcmdZViewItem

BTT

Maybe I should restrict this to the New England area? I have had a few responses but the reality is if I am going to spend $400 for a set of rims and then pay to ship them I might as well just order from TireRack....

Basically, I am looking for a $200 set of rims in the NE area so I can pick them up. Thanks, RT
