need transmission for 1977 300D
if you have any info please let me know. in the dallas area and just lost my reverse.

Before you freak out, check the B3 band adjustment on the tranny. Just above the kick-down solenoid is a 10mm head set screw with a 19mm locknut. The proper setting is to tighten the set screw to about 3.5 ft/lbs then back off 1 1/2 turns, lock it down with the nut.
I've seen cars where the set screw loosens from vibration to the point where reverse won't engage.
