Hello, I have a transmission out of a 1979 240d 123123 chassis that has 145k miles on it. The engine locked up in the car and I had bought another 1979 300d and swapped the motor and trans into the car. The trans has been out and stored at my work for about 3yrs. It was still in good shape and shifted fine, just the older women that owned the car ran the engine out of oil. If it would work for you application I would part with it for around $400 o.b.o.
