Euro Seat Back - W123
My friend and co-owner of my1980 200D has all of the parts that he needs and I have just a few more items to remove before I scrap the body. Not wanting to waste any parts that could possibly be reused I am listing the rear seat back. This seat back is a Euro version, thus it has head rests. This seat back would need to be reupholstered as the cloth is stained from mildew and other dirt. The frame, armrest, and springs are good. The headrests are OK, but I say that in the context the padding could probably be reused for reupholstering.
Shipping would be expensive; I would guess $70. Since I just received my new hood and fender for Margaret I have large boxes to ship the seat. Price…..how about $40. |

Yes, I can post some pics, but it may be tomorrow as I have someone bring a car over tonight to work on.

What about selling the headrests and the mounting hardware from the seat? I don't think the seat itself is any different from a us spec seat

I gues that could be done as well. My only question is whether non-Euro seat frames have the holes for the headrest brackets.

IMO the holes can be cut into the frame for less than the shipping of the seat back if a person has all the brackets and mounting hardware for the headrests.
Would you check on shipping for the seat back to 30047 and also the cost of shipping for the brackets, mounting hardware and rear headrests. I am interested but just don't want to spend a bundle on shipping joel |

From some initial quotes and cost estimators the cost to ship the enitre seat looks to be around $90-$150 and $35-$60 for the heatrests and brackets alone. Here are a few pics. I measure the two mounting holes to be 125mm apart. Each headrest is held with to braces on the seat frame. Each headrest has a brace that is welded to the frame and the other is screwed to the frame.
