Can anyone tell me the correct protocol in order to post someones user name in order to keep others from getting boned? I bought something from a private seller recently on the forum and have received very little in the way of communication and no tracking numbers. I will not post his name as of yet, but I was wondering if there is a place in the forum for deadbeat sellers that I can leave a user name. I know that FastLane is not responsible and I am not looking for that.

Addendum: It has only been a couple weeks but there has been very poor communication. I will not mention this individual until I know for sure there IS a problem. I spoke to him last night (finally) and he assured me that everything is ok. It's hard to deal with when you have sent someone your hard earned dollars. Thanks to all in the group for your input.

how did you pay? did you try to pm the seller? paypal allows you to file a claim within 45 days. perhaps you can contact the admis here and get some advice on how to proceed

Not all shipping methods allow tracking numbers.
Perhaps he has computer problems.


I'm very reluctant to pull the trigger too quickly on a seller, I usually wait for quite a while, and most of the time there was a legitimate reason for the lack of communication.

Give the guy a chance to make good.

You left out the most important detail: How long has it been?

Yeah, two weeks isn't really that long.
As people have mentioned, some follks aren't at a computer all day and only check them a few times a wekk (IE my parents) and other folks get called to travel for work at a moments notice (me), and many other variables that can cause a short delay.

Don't fret. I have confidence that you will get your parts.
