I sent this guy $ in the mail for a part and he seemed trustworth via email and I though being a member of this board he would help another person out in this diesel community. Anyways, refuses to reply to emails and didn't send part. I shouldn't have been so naive.

I'm infuriated with the scams this guy is pulling. I thought I was on a trusty MB board where there was a sense of community, and sharing our knowledge, passion for these cars, etc, etc.

I'm ready to show up at this guys house. Who wants to join me? I should have done my research as there has been some posts about this mo' fo'.

First he told me the mechanic pulled the wrong part, then there was a funeral and he couldn't process this order.

This was the email he was using, doesn't work anymore.... big surprise.

What recourse do we have? I'm only out $75, but the whole situation has made me very angry.

Let's get a formal complaint organized, folks. Anyone local (ATL area) willing to do some legwork? I would like to take all possible legal action to see that this guy doesn't rip anyone else off.

I m sorry to heard that but this guy also been quite trouble for member in other mercedes forum as well...I was readed some other forum got scam as well.....

Update: I have a scan of my canceled check with all sorts of interesting info on it. When we get a formal complaint organized, this ought to be very useful.
