I want all literature available on 1980 300SD w116. Especially the parts catalogue, can swap w111 220Sb catalogue. Also have Pontoon 220S parts catalogue covering sedans, coupes and cabriolets.

C'mon, nobody has 116 parts book and/or owner's manual kicking around?

Presently out at west coast, Jim. I guess 116 parts books are scarce. My personal library covers all other models from Pontoons to 123's. Will try the dealership for owner's manual.

Thanks but yeah i kinda want the later one that covers 300SD & hopefully the dreaded ACC too. For me this parts catalogue is better than shop manual for working on the car.

I have a pile of W116 manuals:

- the Mercedes parts book, called "Catalog G" (for 1979), covering the 300 SD as well as 450 SEL 6.9, 280 S, 280 SE, 450 SE, and 450 SEL. This is the smallish black-cover book, has exploded diagrams of virtually every part in the car. Cover says PC037,PC 041, PC 045, PC 047, PC 167 on it - not certain what these mean.

-Mercedes shop manuals, including
1. Service Manual, Chassis and Body, Series 116, Volume 1
2. Service Manual, Chassis and Body, Series 116, Volume 2
3. Service Manual, Engine 110, Volume 1
4. Service Manual, Engine 110, Volume 2
5. Maintenance Manual USA, Model Year 1972-1980, Passenger cars, Vol 1

These are all the official, original Mercedes manuals, all in very good condition.

I also have one Haynes manual, for the 123 series 280 (1977-81).
