I need a new motor for my newly acquired 78 300CD NA which has a blown headgasket and considerable blowby.

Anyone have an OM617.912 equipped or rigged for the York A/C compressor in and or around Los Angeles?

I have a very nice 1978-300D non turbo engine... It has 155K I am located in Indiana... Engine plus shipping will be 500 dollars... it does have a york compressor mounted on the engine but I do not know if it works... The engine starts as soon as the glow plugs are warmed up.... I am jim16671836 in the parts forum.. Usually the first or second page... Jim
