W124 shocks, front and rear, 3 used 4 semi-new
Located in Frederick MD.
I have some old "used" and "new/barely used" stock MB shocks from my 1987 300D. I have: 1 used front shock (the other one was bad and was thrown out) 2 used rear shocks make me an offer on the used ones 2 "new" Sachs-Boge front shocks, $100 each 2 "new" Sachs-Boge rear shocks, $60 each I had the brand new set of shocks on my car for a month before I opted to buy the bilstein sport shocks to go with the H&R springs and took these back off.

I might have some interest in the rear shocks. How many miles on the used set? How did you like the Sachs ones? Do you know if there were any changes from the '87 to '92 W 124 model years?

I'm not sure of the miles- they were on my car when I got them, The front end was always horrible over bumps which turned out to be the LF one which was wasted. I had already ordered a full set of new ones to go on it- after which I really didn't like the ride, not because of the new shocks but becuase I had also just put a set of H&R springs on it, I swapped them out for the Bilstein sport shocks.
Which set did you want? the "used" set or the "like new" set?  I'm not sure about changes- I doubt there were, the mounting points would all be the same.

I'd probably be better off with the new set. My car had Bilsteins installed last year by the p.o., but the rears appear to be older. I'll see what I can scrape together for an offer. Thanks!

How much for the old springs? My zip is 10950.
Do you still have the new front shocks?

I have everything still. I'm keeping the springs though, may need to put them back on someday if something ever happens.
