Need parts lookup capability
Folks,
I just bought a large batch of parts, mostly for 80s vintage Mercedes. Lots of brake stuff, window risers, windshields, and I have no idea what else is there. I will have a lot of parts, most of which are genuine Mercedes parts, with Part #s. I haven't been able to find a good source on the net where I can key in a part number and have it give me a good idea of the application. Does anyone here know of a site that would provide that so I would know what I have? I will then be looking to sell the parts that fit cars I don't have, like gassers, and I know there are some. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the info. That looks like just what the doctor ordered!

There is a way to look up part #'s and see what cars they are applicable to, but it isn't obvious. If I had read the "manual" it might have helped.
I paid for EPC access but I think it's free in the US now. Good idea from MB, because if you use it, sure as the sun will rise tomorrow you will buy stuff. Lots of stuff. Trust me on this.
