123's can take several different radiators depending on the engine.

You might want to describe it a little better.

It is all brass including the top and bottom tank. It has all the clips to attach it with the normal rubber bushes and steel clips. It has fittings for an automatic tranny to hook its cooler lines to but could of course be used for a stick. It is painted flat black.

How is that?

The 240D and 300D radiators are different. 300D radiator is wider, extends further on the side opposite the oil cooler. Can interchange, but a 240D going into a 300D reduces cooling capacity.

300D turbo is different from NA engines WRT hose locations.

Do not recall if there are differences between the vergassers and the diesels as well.....

I'm tempted......I'm still running on the original behr and I'm sure it's a ticking time bomb. I'm assuming it's from one of your 240's?

Yes. My 280e euro seems to have the same radiator too.

Tom

That still doesn't describe what model of 123 car it goes in.

I will be passing through Indiana over the holidays, and would be tempted to pick it up if it is for an 82~85 300D turbo. At this point, I still don't know what yours fits.

OH, sorry. It is off a 240d. Probably too small for a 300d turbo or even a na.

OK, Thanks.

My 240D radiator is only a couple years old. I would like to find an all metal one for a turbo D, but I have not heard of one on the market.

I was a little startled the other day when I noticed it was an all brass radiator and for a 123 bodied car. I looked it over well though with a normal plastic tanked radiator and I am certain it is for a 123 240d (or apparently a 280e euro).
