I need to buy a Transmission................
Anyone have one for sale???
Automatic or 4 speed Standard. Has to Bolt into my 1983 300sd. Mechanic told me that to rebuild my auto trans would cost over $1000, I just can't pay that, If I can get this car back on the road for 4-500 then thats good, other wise I have to sell it. Let me know if you have anything for sale.

Where are you located? Shipping would kill the deal on most trannies, but if you put your location in your profile under "User CP" (look at left end of menu bar above) it would let everyone know where you might be in need of anything.

Well I dont personally have one, but I do know of this one place that sells rebuilt ones:

So, if you are in North America I'll consider shipping...but your zip code would help
your zip code would help me determine how much shipping would actually be, instead of thinking shipping would kill you....heck I see UPS drivers every day, and as long as they have fuel, I bet I'll keep seeing them on the road.
I'll sell you one (with the shipping added) and you'll be able to invite your neighbors over for a block party to help celebrate good times! ..............

4 speed automatic transmission 1980,300sd
I have a complete 4 speed automatic with torque converter, pulled out of a 1980 300sd I did a total restore customer wanted to put a rebuilt transmission in sos I pulled this one , I drove car before pulling trans, it shifted very good no problems . would need to be serviced and I would put new front seal and tailshaft seal in .i'm located in rhode island and I would let it go for 500.00 let me know if interested.
