two 3.8L 380 engines. one out of my 82 380SEL, one out of another (unknown) vehicle.

The US spec engine is a short block- converted to dual roller and had a valve job, but has not been run since the conversion. It was a project from about 5 years ago and since I've opted to just swap the 380SEC's engine into the SEL when I pull it. Current status is the heads are bolted back on and front cover is back on but all other parts still in bags. 187K on engine

Second engine is the euro 380 (to the best of my knowledge, no engine number, supposedly from an SL) but has grey valve covers, small distributor and 116 p/n on the block. I just recently bought it, which was supposed to be a 560 and was obviously not. I have no room or use for it and it is currently sitting in the back of my wagon! mileage unknown, but was "told" it had been previously "rebuilt." has dual roller chain.

Hey everybody,

Gimmie your best offer on the Euro 380 engine, I need it gone so I can use my 300TD again...its sitting in the back of the wagon waiting to be sold Would make a nice little HP increase for anyone with a 380SEC or SEL! either that or save some money doing a dual row chain conversion and just swap this in.

I still have the US spec 380 engine I'd like to unload, anyone, make an offer. New headgaskets, valve job, ALL chain rails, chain and front cover reseal
