I am looking for a 100 mph speedo for my 240D. The part number on mine is 123 542 47 01. I belive I need one from another manual 240 for the speedo to read correctly. I'm not worried about the odometer. I am sending mine in to get fixed permanently, I'm tired of pulling it and fixing it, so I need a stand in while the other one is in the shop. Let me know thanks.

I just got off the phone with eagle-co94... his spedo from a 4 speed 240D matches the K-factor but not the part number

What is the third gear maximum red hash mark on that speedo?

I have a few but I am no longer sure which is which.

Is the manual speedo different in output from the 240D auto speedo? Eventually I will convert my 240D auto to stick( I have "the kit")- when I do that will there be a speedo error?

I thnk the hash marks on an automatic equipped car has slightly different hash marks to allow for slip. It will read fine though for either.
