123 hood electrical switch anti tampering

this is an electric switch which is specifically designed to replace the spring mechanism which holds on the hood tristar. If some one tampers with the tristar the switch makes and can be used to honk the horn or any other thing you like to deter theft of your prized hood ornament.

I bought it fifteen years ago but never got around to mounting it.

I paid fifty dollars for it.

$35 plus shipping

I'll see what I can do about pics. I don't know if it will work on 126 or not.

I suspect if the hole in the grill for the tristar is close to the same size it will work.

yeah I think the W123/W126 use the same hoodstar....so I would assume it fits....that'd be awesome to have the horn go off if someone messed with it. How sensative is it though....?

I haven't tried it, but if someone is of a mind to steal your tristar they will pull pretty hard.

Oh, you maybe are worried it is too sensitive and will do it while driving down the road?

I don't think so.
