PARTS CAR One (1) Mercedes Benz 1979 240D. VIN: 12312312094914; Engine number 61691212024185. Car has 132,000 original verifiable miles. Most maintenance records since new. I have owned the car since fall of 2005.I bought it from a gentlemen in Phoenix AZ who had it for two months, did not like it (he had an assortment of new MBs and BMWs rockets). When I got the car it had 72,500 original miles. Title is clear.

Car can be used to hang another 616 or 617 engine in.

Engine overheats, had head lifted, and replaced still over heats so consider engine wiped. Tranny is fine. Car is not driveable so will have to be towed.

Car has been well maintained with Mobil 1 fully synthetic oil changes, and Mobil 1 Transmission fluids. Recent maintenance, front brakes rotors, new starter, replaced AC compressor (is R-12) and works fine. Front windshield and rear wind shield seals. New set of injectors, converted glow plug design, new water pump Numerous other items as well I have full maintenance records on car since I have owned it and most prior records as well.

Interior is in fine shape with all seats in top condition. Driver seat recently revamped and overhauled. Vacuum door locks just went out and have been by passed. MPG I log in is within specs and shows 26 to 28 mpg on highway, 28mpg with a stiff tail wind! It has not been converted to biodiesel. Car is an automatic. Mechanically car is in very good shape. No leaks. Transmission shifts nice.

Car was repainted before I got it and some of the clear coat was not done properly. It does not hold a wax too well. Some minor surface rust and paint minor chips but under carriage is in great condition with no structural corrosion or corrosion around the usual 123 chassis.

Injector Pump???
