Availability Check: 1983 300D Oil pressure guage
Hello guys, I'm a new member.
Today I'm going to look at a 1983 300D that has a seep in the oil pressure gauge. I'd like to know if anyone has a working gauge cluster for sale. Also, I will have to drive this car 200 miles with the gauge seeping. If I have to patch this problem on the side of the road, what should I use to block the line and what tools would i need other than the 10 and 13mm wrenches? Thanks! |

Your best bet is to hunt one down at your local pull a part.
I had the same problem with my 84 300D a few weeks ago and was fortunate to find a good cluster at the junk yard for 20 bucks.

I'm going to assume that "pull a part" is a colloquialism for salvage yard, in which case that was the first place I checked. eBay has a few complete instrument clusters, but they're ~ $100. I'd like to make out a bit cheaper.

I am thinking about going to a yard tomorrow (saturday) post if you are still looking for one.
