(2) fender spacers kits for w201, w124, etc $50 each kit + shipping

Just clearing out some items. Id post pics, but you've seen it all before if you know what these are.

I am curious. What do these parts do?

I ended up making adjustable camber plates for the fronts and heim end rods for the rears to add adjustability to my lowered 16v.

The strut limiters are for the front strut. They slide over the shaft of the strut to limit the travel.

The Fender spacers are black plastic with some hardware. This is how they are used. You bolt one between the fender and the front body mount, and one between the fender and the body mount at the bottom-forward side of the fender.

What is gained by installing the fender spacers? Sounds like a gap results somewhere?

if youve dropped your car and/or running wider rims you would know what these are for

the common rubbing spot for the front of 190Es are where the front bumper and the fender meet. the spacers address this problem

The car is lowered. See pix before camber adjusters were installed. I still do not understand what the washers do. Why would the fenders hit the bumper if the suspension is lowered?

Also, pix of the rear end mods to correct the camber are in this thread.

And since we've installed the rear subframe with mods, the car is even lower. I don't have any problem with the fender hitting the bumper?

When you run wider than stock wheels, the tires will rub on the fender/bumper lips. This spacer kit moves the fender/bumper out enough to run the wider wheels. Specifically designed for 8" and 8.25" wide wheels.

The other strut spacers are more or less "bump stops", so if you use a lowering spring, the strut shaft does not bottom out in the strut.

Is there anything like this for the rear fenders? Thats where I'm rubbing. Only 1 wheel. Passenger side. My E430 ET37 bent, so I'm using some ET40 8-holes... I dont really wanna buy new rims...

Are you rubbing inner or outer fender?

If outer: rol your fender lips

If inner and your car is lowered look up www.rdmtek.com rear camber kit

Are you talking W210 here?

we're talkin w201,

rubbing on the outer fender on the edge of the sidewall. Im running 205/60/15 on 8-holes.
I have to get different rims soon. I was looking at a 5-spoke 16x7.5 but no idea what size tire to run with my setup.

When you said E430 I was thinking w210. I was reading the post from my phone.

You should roll your fenders.

I was thinking about that... I would need to get the fender rolling tool wouldnt I? Is there a place where that I could rent that? I know tirerack has them for like 200+ but Ill be damned if Im gonna drop 200 on something Im gonna use once.

Is there any like DIY write up on how to do it? I dont wanna hurt anything trying to do this if/when I get my hands on the tool.

If you put these on a 124, will the spacing be visible in the form of a gap between the hood and fender?
