WTB: 300D/TD cruise control actuator (1981-1985)
My acutator just died. Has what seems to be an ususual failure to high resistance (2800 ohms) on the position sensor (rather than open or short) from pin 1. I would think it would be more likely to burn out open.
The amp is probably OK as it keeps clicking the clutch continuously when the key is turned on - probably trying to move the acutator to a known feedback value. This is an '85 300TD - I understand 1981-1985 are compatible. Have some leads on car-parts.com in the $35+ range. If somebody already has a known good unit on the shelf and wants to make a few bucks, PM me a shipped price to 37643. Thanks!
