Parting Out White 1984 300D - Lots to Go!!! - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

Hey All! I'm in the Portland, OR area, and I am parting out a White 1984 300D Turbo. I am about half of the way through the interior and haven't touched under the hood (except for the windshield wiper fluid resevoir and pump). I know the engine is bad (what, exactly, I'm not sure).

Here's a short list of what I know is there and in good shape:

First Aid Kit (broken tab on white box containing supplies... otherwise complete) and lid/box
Tail Lights (used, but nice looking)
All Headlights (one fog light has crack/hole)
All Body and trim is straight and pretty clean
Excellent Dash (very little, or no cracks... can't remember)
Great Dark Blue Front Seats (a little soft, but only one small tear, great condition)
Black front door panels
Good Rotors
Most under the hood 'stuff'

Here's a short list of what is NOT there:
Engine/Transmission
Carpets
Window Switches
Heater Control Panel
Instrument Panel
Rear Seats
Wheels/Tires
Jack
Blower Motor/Fan
Front Bumper
Cruise Amp

I'm up for questions, research, pictures, whatever. Just let me know what you need from me. I'm not looking for a whole lot of cash for any one item on the car, but I would like to pay for my time for acquiring the part from the vehicle... I am restoring a 1983 300TD and have a short list of wants for my baby (ashtray, hatchback interior trim pieces, rear windshield wiper motor, new window switches for front seat). I'm easy to work with, so reply to post or pm me.

THIS HAS TO BE IN THE NEXT WEEK AT THE MOST. Today is May 13, 2009. The car is parked in my yard and I can't keep it there long before the city will get peeved at me.

You can come pick any or all up, or I can ship it to you (within reason).

I'll give you parts for half the $$$ of anybody else... just want to help out! GOOD HUNTING!!!

I have an 83 in white, and need the passenger side doors (mine have a scratch in them). I am in So. Cal though, and the shipping may not be worth it. Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Sorry, all... Can't ship major parts (doors, hoods, trunk lids, seats), but if you bring your used parts to me, I'll be happy to trade them out! I'm in Vancouver/Portland area. They're in INCREDIBLE shape, though...

Just one more bump before I delete the thread... tomorrow, Sunday, May 17, is the last day to strip this baby clean... lots of stuff still... lost track of trying to list it all, so pm or email me and let me know what you need...

If you're in the Portland area, we're all meeting between 2 and 6 tomorrow to get the last of what we want out of her...

$200 plus a tow to take away the whole thing and keep what's left!

I could use good trim for the front right fender and passenger door. The pieces down the center of the fender mainly.
